Packed and ready to go by lunch time. Derek and Jacob in the truck and Cameron and I in the car, i know its so ridiculous driving in separate vehicles but until we can afford an extended cab truck this is how we travel. Two things you must know before I continue my husband(yes a wonderful man) has two evils #1 Very Cheap #2 No patience. So just off the 401 on the way to Picton there is an indian reserve and they sell stuff (cheap cigarettes and GAS...yes GAS) so Derek doesn't smoke but his truck sure likes gas, so he has to pull over and get some gas. Everyone (3 trucks and trailers) pulls off waiting for derek to fill up with gas. He turns off his truck while waiting in line, so then he goes to start it and click click...nothing. Isn't this nice...he has lost it and i'm laughing because i am surprised we made it this far. So this random guy pulls him away to the side and then some "on the side of the road" mechanical work happens. Thank goodness derek works for Napa and has parts connections and one of our friends is a mechanic, so a starter was change right at the gas station!!! A few beers later (*and swearing*) and we were on the road. We made it there and well went to bed early, unfortuntely the next day wasn't so nice..rain but just before supper it cleared up and then we had an after dinner swim, so refreshing. Saturday was really gorgeous ...please see picture with guy smoking something. REally at a beach at 10am? Sorry I must be out of the loop..what is it? i'm sure its legal. Then we had some man going to strip down and change right in front of us and he was no eye candy.The waves were awesome and the sand was hot. Then that night I decided to poison my sister in law, just joking she is really sensitive and i guess she can't have cumin...so sorry really made for a crappy weekend for her. She decided to sleep in the trailer, pretty sure she regretted that idea...you know baby that still gets up through the night and a toddler that well likes to get up early...oh ya and i forgot to mention derek likes the trailer like an ice box so pretty sure she froze her ass off!!! Then sunday we didn't make it to the beach til 2 and it was packed so we got near the pet area..clearly its called that for a reason...when i came out of the water i had some nice green seaweed..yumm. But the funniest well maybe not funniest part was the lady put her baby in a car seat (not strapped in) and then left it right behind these peoples chairs while she set up a tent. So all of a sudden the baby falls out of the car seat so i go over(no knowing its not this guys baby) and say to the person um your baby fell out and the guy was like thats not my baby. So i'm thinking ok its literally right beside you...then the mother comes over and says oops i forgot about my baby. Oh my some people. Monday had to be the best day, awesome waves great weather and we went early enough to the beach. We had some family up for the day. It was an awesome 5 days but glad to be home and showered. And I'm sorry Todd you stuck around too long at the girls campfire and learned some interesting facts!!!I didn't take alot of pictures sorry
